Cimarron Strip
Sprawling CBS-TV Western series (1967-1968), comprised of 90-minute episodes that were filmed on a movie scale. The Strip was the border region between the Kansas Territory and Indian Territory during the late 1800s. Stories centered around Stuart Whitman (Marshal Jim Crown), Percy Herbert (Angus MacGregor), Randy Boone (Francis Wilde), and Jill Townsend (Dulcey Coopersmith). Many excellent guest-stars graced the stories, including: John Saxon, Darren McGavin, Barbara Luna, Steve Forrest, Warren Oates, R.G. Armstrong, Robert J. Wilke, Andrew Duggan, L.Q. Jones, David Carradine, Gene Evans, Robert Duval1, Morgan Woodward, Joseph Cotton, Jim Davis, Albert Salmi, James Stacy, and Lyle Bettger. Standout episode was "The Roarer" (Nov. 2, 1967), with a superb performance by Richard Boone!
