Life And Legend Of Wyatt Earp

Highly successful ABC-TV Western series (1955-1961), starring Hugh O'Brian as the legendary lawman, Wyatt Earp. This show catapulted Mr. 0'Brian into instant super stardom, and helped popularize his famous "Buntline Special" revolver: every kid in America wanted one of their own! Episodes covered Earp's adventures (with narration!) in Ellsworth and Dodge City, Kansas, as well as in Tombstone, Arizona. The entire series was further enhanced by The Ken Darby Singers theme song at the beginning and end of each episode. All the young viewers (and parents alike!) knew the words: "Wyatt Earp, Wyatt Earp, brave, courageous, and bold; long live his fame, and long live his glory, and long may his story be told!" NOTE: The show finished in the TOP 25 Nielsen Ratings for three consecutive seasons: 1957-1958; 1958-1959; and 1959-1960.
